Spa Motors opened its first branch in 2019 in Llandrindod Wells. They then purchased Brecon Ford in 2021, followed by Hereford (previously Steels) in 2023. They supply both new and used vehicles ranging from cars to SUVs, commercial pick ups and vans. The company growth continues and they now employ a full team of sales, accounts and service staff.
Both Hereford and Brecon sites have workshops looking after the vehicles with an MOT station. There is also a bodyshop at their Hereford site.
The role:
Primarily the successful candidate will support the company secretary in sales admin. This role will include –
- Inputting data into Sage
- Creating files and updating records
- Answering the telephone
- Support the sales team with general administrative tasks as required
- Creating invoices
- Maintain accurate vehicle stock records
- Assist with stock takes
- Prepare and check all paperwork for vehicle registration, taxation, and handovers
Desired skills:
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident in the use of IT and open to learning new systems
- Experience with Sage would be beneficial however training can be provided for this

- Self motivated
- Proactive
- Punctual
- Trustworthy
Desired qualifications:
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or above
Future prospects?
- There is a high probability this would turn in to a full time role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship due to the business size. This may extend to supporting other areas of the business such as service.
- There may be other job roles to progress into in the future.
