What you’ll do at work
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of vehicles, including routine servicing, diagnostics, and minor repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tyre rotations.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve repair processes and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work activities.

After this apprenticeship
There may be a possibility of a permanent position if a successful apprenticeship is completed.
Your training plan
- Level 3 Apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Maintenance
- End point assessment
- Certificate of completion of the standard
- This will also include functional skills if required. You may have to attend formal college sessions (if English & maths are required).
- You will learn the knowledge, skills and behaviours related to the apprenticeship standard.
- Training will take place within the work place supported by the assessor through regular visits and reviews. An online portfolio is also used where tasks are set and progress is monitored.
