About the course

You will gain an understanding of all aspects of modern farming practices based around our College farm which will cover a wide range of livestock and arable operations. You will also enjoy a range of trips to various local and national shows and demonstrations. This qualification is the equivalent of up to 168 UCAS Points.

Why choose us

Classroom-based learning is regularly linked in with the tasks undertaken at our 230-hectare organic farm. The farm is well-equipped with machinery and runs a pedigree herd of Hereford cattle, a flock of Lleyn ewes and a large arable enterprise. This enables students to gain valuable practical skills and key underpinning knowledge in order to progress further in the industry. The College has strong links within the agricultural sector, with guest speakers to visits to local farms enhancing the learning experience.
