If you would like to be involved in teaching in the lifelong learning sector then this course is for you. This short 14 week programme provides participants with an introduction to teaching in the lifelong learning sector. It is ideally suited to those who are new to teaching and wish to have a short taster of what a teaching role involves. This is a really interesting programme which is delivered in a supportive environment.
Diploma in Education and Training (Formerly DTLLS), a two year part-time programme allowing application to Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and learning
Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
Understanding assessment in education and training
A short micro teach in an area of your choice to your peers
