This one-day course is for the Award in Safe use of Pesticides Handheld Applicators (PA6). This training course is designed for spray operators and pest control technicians who require a certificate for pesticide applications using a handheld sprayer.
The NPTC assessment will take place on a separate day; a time will be allocated to you during your training.
Course Content
- Safety and routines maintenance
- Operating the handheld sprayer
- Adjustments, setting and calibration
- Decontamination of the sprayer and protective
- Measuring and mixing pesticides sprayer
Equipment
Candidates should bring wellingtons and spray overalls (minimum type 6 for chemicals).
Entry Requirments
Applicants must be 19 years or above to enrol on this course and have achieved the Foundation Module PA1.
