Background
Computer skills are invaluable and grow increasingly in demand each year. These skills allow people to reach out and stay in touch with others. The ability to navigate a computer and the internet helps people to feel part of the world around them; they can research their interests, search for employment and learn transferable skills for employment and daily life.
Course content
This course will help you to learn and develop skills such as word processing, using email and internet and to become more confident in using a computer. You will learn basic computer functions, including saving documents and organising files and folders, and how to use different platforms to connect with others around the world.
The course will include topics such as:
- Create a file / folder
- Stay safe online
- Create and send attachments via email
- Microsoft Office 365
- Upload / download
- Online communication

Beginners – no previous experience necessary.
