About the course

You will learn about different degrees of deafness and how you can support deaf people.

You will gain an understanding of the impact faced by deaf people and how to use this awareness to reduce barriers.

You will learn general communication skills to assist you when meeting or working with deaf people.

You will learn basic British Sign Language skills, including the alphabet, greetings, simple numbers, and vocabulary needed for basic conversations.
