This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. Designed to build sound knowledge and foundation practical skills, our Level 1 Carpentry & Joinery course is delivered by skilled and experienced staff who are passionate about their craft. Due to the nature of the construction industry, this is a ‘hands-on’ course which is predominantly delivered in a practical format.
Progression routes after successful completion of this course may include the Level 2 Diploma in Carpentry &Joinery, Level 2 Apprenticeship in Site Carpentry, Level 2 Apprenticeship in Bench Joinery, or potential employment in the construction sector.
