This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. Building upon the skills developed at Level 1 (or Intermediate Carpentry) and Level 2, the evening course focuses on the advanced skills and knowledge needed to work in the joinery industry. Delivered by experienced staff committed to helping and pushing individuals to achievetheir highest potential, this courseis technically challenging and predominantly delivered in a practical format. At this level of study there is more emphasis put on attention to detail, problem-solving, and working independently, these can be considered amongst the key attributes required to transition into skilled employment upon course completion successfully.
