This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. This course is ideal for people who want to work in the early years industry or progress to university-level courses with a Level 3 qualification. Over the two-year period, students will cover fourteen core and specialist units to enhance their knowledge of the world of working with children aged 0-8 years in a variety of settings. You will be provided with the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge within a range of work-related contexts through weekly work experience placements.
The course is an ideal route for students to enter professions such as children’s nursing, primary school teaching, nursery practitioner, family support worker, teaching assistant, play therapist or child minding.
