Course content
Week one – We will make a variety of Christmas Tree Decorations
Weeks two and three – We will make a Santa Gonk and continue with decorations from the first week
Materials needed
Size 3mm, 4mm and 6mm hooks
For the decorations – Double Knit yarn 50g – see below for specific colours:
- · Christmas Wreath – Green yarn
- · Christmas star – Any colour
- · Candy Cane – Any two colours
- · Poinsettia – Green, red and cream
- · Angel – White, colour of choice for dress/body and some thin gold thread or yarn
- · Christmas mini stocking – two colours of choice
- · Snowman – white, black and choice of colour for hat and scarf
To make the Gonk – 100g of chunky red yarn, small amount of chunky skin tone, white and black yarn, a nylon stocking, 100g dry rice or poly pellets, toy stuffing.
About the tutor
My name is Tanya and I have been crocheting for about 4 years. Over the years I have made all sorts of toys, ranging from tiny turtles up to large flamingos. I love giving them as gifts and keepsakes; they are personal and unique. Crocheting is one of the best forms of relaxation where you get something cute at the end to keep.
