About the course

In this course you will be writing from your memory so that you can create your writer’s voice. We will explore character development, set the scene and use dialogue. We will use a range of literary techniques to increase confidence in creative writing.

Creative writing can:

· Help you to gain more confidence and improve your self esteem

About the tutor:

Carolyn is a writer and teacher with a special interest in English and outdoor learning. She began teaching creative writing 30 years ago, has taught in universities and schools and is an Associate Tutor with the Field Studies Council.

This course runs for 5 weeks on the following dates:

26th September to 24th October 2024

7th November to 5th December 2024

Each session costs £87
