About the course

In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, enjoy the calm of a morning of drawing and painting. We will explore a variety of media, techniques and subject matter, giving you the opportunity to develop your own style.

Over the year we’ll be using a broad range of media, this half term we will start by drawing with pencils, then charcoal, drawing leaves and swans, followed by painting with watercolours. Learners need to bring in their own equipment. They are taught sessions but if anyone prefers to work on their own paintings or project in a session that’s fine. We have a short coffee break in the middle of the sessions if you wish.
