English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) is a course to help non-native English speakers improve their English language skills. The course will cover reading, writing, listening, and speaking. All students are encouraged to work towards City and Guilds ESOL qualifications. The qualifications will help you to settle into living in England. They will also help you to find work, new friends and improve your confidence and self-esteem in a new country.
Attending an ESOL course could help you with:
Reducing any stress and anxiety you may feel with everyday things, like shopping, using public transport, or attending medical appointments. Understanding and being able to communicate can reduce feelings of isolation. Learning and using English can boost your confidence. It can make it easier for you to take part in social activities and community events, where you can meet new friends
