Course Content
This qualification covers the theory and practical knowledge required to enable you to carry out a full facial treatment on clients and have confidence in the theoretical knowledge of the head, neck and shoulders. You will also gain knowledge and understanding of skin care to be able to give advice and recommendations you can give to clients to maintain or improve their skin condition.
You will be working in the realistic working environment of the college’s beauty salon and you will have access to high quality products to conduct your treatments. 100% attendance will be required in order to complete all the elements of the course.
What you will learn:
- Full cleanse and exfoliation of the skin
- Steam and extraction of blackheads
- Facial massage
- Mask application and removal
- After care products you can apply to the skin such as serums, SPF’s, moisturisers and eye creams
- The skin structure and functions
- How to look after the skin and what advice you can give to clients, including product recommendations
What could you do next?
Progression into manicure or pedicure services or other treatment areas such as waxing, eye treatments or even make-up.
