This A Level Film Studies course explores the art, history, and impact of cinema. You’ll study a wide range of films from different genres, periods, and cultures, analysing how they communicate meaning through visual and narrative techniques. The course covers key areas such as film language, representation, spectatorship, and industry. You’ll also engage in creative production, developing your own short film or screenplay, combining analytical insight with practical skills.
