About the course

This course will cover the basics of floral design with a focus on seasonal displays to create beautiful arrangements:

Week one: Autumn posy

Week two: Autumn wreath

Week three: Halloween creation

Week four: Harvest arrangement

Week five: Autumn church window display

Tools/Materials:

You will need to bring the following to every session of the course:

  • Secateurs floristry scissors

  • Gloves (optional)

In addition, for the first week, you will need:

  • Round dish or container

  • Oasis

  • Pot tape

  • Greenery

  • Selection of autumn coloured flowers, for example: some small, some large, such as spray carnations, gyp, carnations, roses, lisianthus, chrysanthemums.

For subsequent weeks, you will be issued in advance with a list of flowers and other materials to bring with you to the class each week. Please note, that the cost of these will be at your own expense.
