About the course

You will learn the skills to make well-designed and beautifully executed furniture in the College’s purpose-built workshop. The focus of the Level 2 qualification is to expertly guide you through the making process, using both traditional and modern methods. These will include the use of machinery and power tools, as well as hand-based techniques. Practical knowledge will be supported by theory-based sessions, and you will gain an insight into the furniture making industry.
