This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. Based on the National Occupational Standards for Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, this course is a job-ready qualification which requires learners to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required in the hairdressing and beauty therapy industry. Our well-equipped, commercially run hair salon provides opportunities to develop skills within a commercial setting. You will be expected to build up a client base of paying customers in order in order to complete the practical assessments. This is a key feature of the course.
VTCT Level 1 in Hair and Beauty
NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing, NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy. Employment options may include trainee beauty therapist, junior stylist.
