SHORT COURSES
Are you interested in the Hispanic culture? Would you like to practise your Spanish talking about a range of subjects, such as cultural and historical events, traditions, and current affairs? This Spanish Conversation course aims at develoing the student’s spoken skills by discussing several subjects, which would help them increase their understanding of the Hispanic world and improve their understanding about it’s characteristics, as well as researching a certain topic and sharing your project with the rest of the group.
Level: Intermediate or higher level.
By the end of the course you can expect to be able to:
Have improved your ability to express your opinions when having conversations about different topics in the target language
Have a raised awareness about some of the most important traditions and cultural events from the Hispanic world
Have worked on your receptive skills by watching and reading materials from different sources in the target language
Have independently researched a topic suggested by the teacher and shared it with the rest of the class with a short presentation
Ongoing assessment by tutor and self.
You will need: Pen, paper, internet access
Your tutor will supply: Handouts and various resources will be provided throughout the course.
