This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. * Fees are chargeable each year and the fees quoted will be for the current year only, if the course is more than 1 year further fees will be due next year.
The course offers you the chance to build a foundation of sports knowledge that will enhance your understanding of your physical performance and prepare you for further study. This will include areas such as fitness testing and development, anatomy and physiology, effects of exercise on the body, planning and leading sport activities and injury in sport.
Study options may include Level 3 in Sport or Public Services. Employment options may include leisure centre attendant, assistant fitness instructor or assistant coach.

At least 4 GCSEs at grades 2 / E or above, including English and Maths
