Do you have expertise in Early Years, Education and Health and are passionate about providing opportunity for educating the next generation of apprentices? 

We are seeking an assessor in Early Years, Education and Health to develop our apprenticeship provision. This post provides an excellent opportunity for a qualified assessor, teacher, a graduate or a vocationally experienced professional interesting in pursuing a career as an apprenticeship assessor. 

You will become part of a great existing team who are committed to supporting every student to achieve their potential. Early Years, Education and Health are high performing departments within this highly successful Further Education College. We currently offer full and part time provision to students from Level 1 to Level 5 and we are now keen to develop our provision to include apprenticeships in these sectors. 

We would like to appoint a student-centred apprenticeships assessor who can motivate and support our learners to achieve in their related apprenticeship. 

The role of the assessor is to liaise with employers to understand the difference that taking on an apprentice can make to their business.  They will help employers find and secure an apprentice and support them whilst they undertake their placement to ensure that their business needs are being met.  The role also includes recruiting and supporting apprentices into appropriate settings and liaising with curriculum teaching staff to ensure that the placement is meeting the qualification requirements. The post holder will also be required to ensure that apprentices successfully meet the assessment requirements of their apprenticeship.
