As part of the ongoing development and growth of the Engineering provision at our Folly Lane campus in Hereford, we are seeking to appoint to the following post:
FULL TIME LECTURER / COURSE TUTOR IN ENGINEERING
Salary: Up to £36,232 depending on qualifications and experience
The successful candidate may also be eligible to apply for the government’s levelling up premium payment of up to £6,000 – Levelling up premium payments for FE teachers – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
To deliver a range of subjects to mainly full time 16-19 year old students, engineering apprentices, studying Engineering qualifications at Levels 2 & 3. Subjects being sought include Project Management, Engineering Maths, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Science. The ability to also deliver Engineering subjects at HNC level would be advantageous.
As part of the role, you will also be expected to carry out the associated organisational / administrative processes including preparation of work, marking and assessment, course tutorship, student welfare and counselling and to support and participate fully in the ongoing Faculty and College activities to achieve the College’s key mission and objectives.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (minimum HNC) and have relevant work / industrial experience within the Engineering industry. Those without teaching experience, but willing to train towards, are welcome to apply.
