HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISER
Based at Hereford Campus with travel to Holme Lacy campus and Ludlow College
Hours 22.5 hours per week/52 weeks per year
Salary: Support Scale Point 32 -34, FTE £33,018 – £34,853, actual £19,810 – £20,911 (0.6).
Pension: In addition, Employer pension contribution of between £3,809 to £4,088 per year
Holiday: Full time equivalent annual holiday entitlement of 38 days (rising to 43 after 5 years service) pro rata for 22.2 hours
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Health & Safety provision providing a comprehensive support service within the organisation’s Southern campuses on all aspects of health and safety at work. The post holder will also support the strategic approach to health and safety at work, ensuring it is adopted in line with the HSE’s guidance and ensure compliance with current legislation.
The successful candidate will be experienced in health and safety, hold a NEBOSH Certificate or working towards, be a qualified first aid trainer or a willingness to work towards, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a sound knowledge of health and safety legislation
