Health and Social Care is a high achieving department in this extremely successful Further Education College. Students who study in this area gain the qualifications they need to move onto their next steps but also develop their wider personal development. Students benefit from high-quality teaching, learning and assessment and experience a wide range of additional activities. We are looking to appoint an additional member of the team who is dynamic, innovative and student centred with the ability to motivate and support our learners. We would consider applications from anyone wishing work any day of the week, however, availability on a Thursday and Friday would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the achievements of all students by maintaining the highest quality delivery of teaching, learning and pastoral care.
The ideal candidate will already have a recognised teaching qualification at L5 or above, or be willing to work towards this qualification.
A comprehensive package of employee benefits is in place including a competitive salary, above average holiday entitlement, eligibility to join a defined benefit pension scheme with excellent financial contributions of 28.68% by the College and pension death in service grant of 3 x salary, generous occupational sickness, maternity, paternity and shared parental leave pay schemes, high number of free on-site parking bays, access to a range of free CPD events, professional qualifications and recreational courses, flexible working policy, eye care voucher scheme, cycle to work scheme, wellbeing support, use of free on site gymnasium, access to competitively priced food outlets, access to on site training restaurant and occasional free hairdressing and beauty treatments.
