Hourly Paid Teacher of Sport and Public Services    

Salary range £25.91 – £28.43 per hour (inc. holiday pay)  

Uniformed Public Services and Sport are high achieving departments in this extremely successful Further Education College. We follow the new BTEC specifications at Level 2 and 3 for Public Services and NCFE Specifications for Sport. Both departments have strong achievement rates and we continue to explore all potential opportunities for growth. We would like to build upon this success and appoint an experienced teacher who is dynamic, innovative and student centred who can motivate and support our learners. 

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the achievements of all students by maintaining the highest quality delivery of teaching and learning and pastoral care. 

This role will require 4 hours of teaching on a Monday from 09.00 to 13.15, with a 15 minute break. There is potential for more hours pending further student recruitment. The units being delivered have both a uniformed public service and sport focus, making this idea for candidates from either vocational or academic background. There is potential for more work within the faculty that will be discussed at interview.
