Relief Nursery Assistant
Salary: £13.48 per hour (includes holiday pay)
We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and skilled practitioner for the position of relief nursery assistant at our Oswestry campus nursery, Footsteps.
Hours of work will be flexible between 8.00am – 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.
You will hold the relevant level 3 childcare qualification or above and assist the nursery manager in the maintenance of a safe, secure and happy environment for all children to ensure continuation of high-quality pre-school provision.
Key duties will include supporting the delivery of the EYFS to help with children’s various stages of learning and development.
You will be required to work in line and put into practice the nursery and college policies and procedures.
You may be required to help complete children’s observations and development forms for the children’s learning journals. Effective communication with the room supervisor and colleagues regarding all aspects of children’s care within whichever room you are based, ensuring all messages are communicated precisely and clearly with staff and parents.
