FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY STUDIES
As part of the continuing development and growth of our Construction & Building Services provision at Herefordshire, Ludlow & North Shropshire College (HLNSC), we are seeking to appoint to the following post;
Part-Time Hourly Paid Lecturer PROPERTY & BUILDING MAINTENANCE
£24.95 – £27.46 per hour depending on qualifications and experience (includes holiday pay)
The role will involve the delivery of Property & Building Maintenance skills and units to our 16-19 year old Level 2 full-time students and for day-released apprentices. Practical workshops and theory lessons will cover a range of disciplines, to include one or more of Painting & Decorating, Plastering, Carpentry and Bricklaying.
Teaching will take place at our Hereford campus during normal working hours and across 2-3 days / week term-time only to suit.
As part of the role you will also be expected to carry out the associated organisational / administrative processes including preparation of work, marking and assessment, student welfare and counselling and to support and participate fully in the ongoing Faculty and College activities to achieve the College’s key mission and objectives.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (minimum Level 2) and have relevant experience / knowledge within the property and building maintenance sector.
