The Student Support Team has expanded, we are looking for resilient, passionate and motivated person to join our team. The position available will coordinate staffing and provide care, support and academic assistance for young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

The post available will enhance our current SEND student support team, providing 1 to 1 support, small group support and study skills development for students with Education, Health and Care Plans. You will be liaising with the Head of Student Support & SEND and tutors to coordinate staff and ensure a safe and supportive study environment for all of our students.
This exciting position will work directly with staff and young people in and out of the classroom environment to meet their individual needs.
Full on the job training will be offered in addition to formal funded training if required, for example leadership and management training or the Diploma in Education and Training.

This role is key in supporting students to continuously improve their social and academic skills, to secure achievement, and prepare for independence into adulthood. Working with college staff and tutors will be a key aspect for this role.
