This course is designed to develop the practical skills and theoretical understanding of information technology, computer systems, software and hardware. Individuals will complete a range of units which are designed to give them a fundamental understanding of the world of computers and how they can be used, improved and repaired. Individuals develop their skills in our fantastic purpose-built computing labs, under the guidance of our expert staff, all of whom have extensive industry experience in the computing and ICT sectors.
Level 2 Extended Certificate in Computing.
Progression routes may include Level 3 Computing Extended Diploma or Apprenticeship.

Computer networking and systems management
This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees.
