As well as the standard course content for Emergency First Aid, the Forestry Commission recommends those who work in the forestry industry should cover additional topics relevant to the risks associated with their industry
Candidates will be awarded with an iTC First Emergency First Aid +F certificate on successful completion of this training which is compliant with Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 incorporating The Forestry Commission +F recommended elements. Refresher training is recommended every 3 years.

Role of the First Aider and incident management
Treatment of the unconscious casualty including seizures
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
Choking
Shock
Dealing with wounds and treatment of bleeding
Minor injuries in the work place
Forestry +F Content
Crush injuries
Catastrophic bleeding including chainsaw injuries
Extremes of hot and cold including hypothermia
Lyme’s disease
Lightning and high voltage injuries
