This course allows learners to develop and practise the skills required to provide hairdressing services for all hair types. This covers a range of skills and knowledge such as consulting with clients, shampooing, cutting, styling and finishing, plaiting, as well as various colouring and lightening services.
Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing.
Progression routes may include Level 3 on Diploma in Women’s Hairdressing, Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, an apprenticeship or employment as a junior stylist.

This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees.
