This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees. Health and social care is one of the largest employment sectors in the UK. You will learn about the care needs of a wide range of people of all ages and from all backgrounds. You will be able to put your new skills into practice during your work placement opportunity. On completion of this programme you will have a nationally recognised qualification which can help you progress to the T Level Health (Adult Nursing) or the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care. Progression rates onto level 3 are high, due to the support, encouragement and challenge that the level 2 students receive from our dedicated team of specialist teachers.
BTEC Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care or BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Health and Social Care, depending on programme pathway.
Progression routes shown are dependent on successful completion of qualifications and meeting entry criteria. Study options may include T Level Health (Adult Nursing), Level 3 in Health &Social Care or in Childcare – Early Years Educator. Employment options may include health care assistant, domiciliary care, support worker or personal assistant.
