About the course

Health and social care is one of the largest employment sectors in the UK. You will learn about the care needs of a wide range of people of all ages and from all backgrounds. You will be able to put your new skills into practice during your work placement opportunity. On completion of this programme you will have a nationally recognised qualification which can help you progress to the T Level Health (Adult Nursing) or the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care. Progression rates onto level 3 are high, due to the support, encouragement and challenge that the level 2 students receive from our dedicated team of specialist teachers.

What qualification will I gain?

BTEC Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care or BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Health and Social Care, depending on programme pathway.
