This course is designed to further develop the practical skills and theoretical understanding of vehicles and systems, building on the knowledge gained at Level 1. The focus of this course is on the skills and understanding associated with the removal and refitting of a full range of vehicle components. Individuals further develop their skills in our fantastic workshops, using a range of more complex tools and specialist equipment, under the guidance of our expert staff, all of whom have extensive industrial experience in the vehicle repair sector.
Level 2 Diploma in Motor Vehicle.
Progression routes may include Level 3 Motor Vehicle or Apprenticeship.
Removal and replacement of light vehicle transmission and driveline units and components
Removal and replacement of light vehicle engine components
Removal and replacement of light vehicle chassis components
Removal and replacement of light vehicle electrical units and components
This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees.
