About the course

This course will help you develop the skills necessary for working within the uniformed public services. Taught and assessed both theoretically and practically with no exam, you will benefit from a wide range of public service-related experiences including outdoor and adventurous activities, rescue scenario training and guest speakers from the industry. In addition, you will participate in ongoing fitness training, as well as gaining knowledge, skills and understanding from visits to a diverse range of public sectors.

What you could do next

Enter directly into the armed forces or progress to a Level 3 course. The skills developed and experiences undertaken would also prepare you for employment outside of the uniformed public services.
