SHORT COURSES
This introductory course is designed for the beginner who would like to develop basic skills in Spanish and experience learning a foreign language. The emphasis is on conversational language in everyday situations, such as:
– Greetings
– Ordering food and drinks
– Travelling about
– Booking accommodation
– Using the phone
– General topics like weather, family, surroundings.
The course will include a limited focus on listening and reading skills. A text book will be used as a background to the course and optional homework will be set after each class. Learners who are able to dedicate some time to homework will enjoy the course and progress well.
You may choose to continue with the Spanish Beginners course to further consolidate your learning at this level, or you may choose to progress to the Spanish Improvers course.
Dates: 22nd September to 1st December 2026 (no class on 27th October)

Cost: Tuition £85 + Materials £5 = £90
This course is for people who have very little or no previous knowledge of the chosen language. No formal entry requirements are required.
