A one-year Level 1 course for students who have an EHCP. A stepping stone to employment, you will study employability qualifications as well as undertake a meaningful work placement. We work alongside Enable to provide a job coach for the duration of your work placement to ensure you are fully supported in the workplace.
Level 1 Certificate in Employability & Development Skills.
Learners will increase employment readiness, gain work-related qualifications, improve independence and progress into employment, supported employment or volunteering roles.
Popular modules include: CV writing, searching and applying for jobs, Business Enterprise
Assessment for the employability elements will be through the creation of a portfolio of evidence.
It is beneficial if you have some entry-level qualifications, however, this is not necessary. Entry onto the course is largely based on a successful interview. Applicants must have an EHCP.
This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees.
