Ludlow Sixth Form College is pleased to formalise its partnership with Ludlow Assembly Rooms, sharing a commitment to supporting young people, creativity and community engagement.
As part of the college’s patron scheme, Ludlow Assembly Rooms will work closely with students and staff throughout the 2026/27 academic year, providing learning opportunities and helping students develop the skills and experience needed for future careers.
The partnership will offer a range of exciting opportunities across the academic year, for example:
- Students will work on a live project with Ludlow Assembly Rooms, gaining experience of responding to a real client brief and developing creative solutions for a community organisation.
- Ludlow Assembly Rooms will join the college’s annual Careers Fayre, helping students explore opportunities within the creative, cultural and events sectors and providing insight into career pathways available locally.
- Ludlow Assembly Rooms will host the college’s annual summer Art Exhibition, showcasing the talent and creativity of Ludlow College students to the wider public. Students will also have the opportunity to sell their work, giving them experience of presenting and marketing. The exhibition launch evening will include the college’s Student of the Year Awards, celebrating outstanding achievement across the college.
- Alongside the exhibition, students will be able to undertake work experience placements at Ludlow Assembly Rooms, gaining practical experience of working within a busy arts and entertainment venue.
- Ludlow Assembly Rooms will host the students’ annual play as well as providing spaces for rehearsals and workshops for drama students.
The collaboration will include opportunities for students to exhibit work at community events, contribute to audience and marketing research, and engage in creative projects that support youth participation. Discussions are also underway regarding opportunities for students to support youth engagement initiatives and gather student perspectives on future events and activities.
