Equine student Izzy Kinvig, who is studying a Level 3 Technical Diploma in Equine Management at the Walford Campus has had great success in the Veteran Horse Society Championships held at Arena UK recently.
Izzy has been competing in veteran horse riding showing on her own 23 year old Glendoole Lad for the past 5 years. She has won the young rider class consecutively for the last three years but went one step further this year winning the overall Veteran of the Year 2023.
Izzy’s tutor Krista Price says ‘we are extremely proud of Izzy’s achievements, she has been very humble about her success taking it all in her stride’ ‘It is Izzy’s first year at Walford and she is proving to be a dedicated student who is keen to improve her knowledge and skills further. I have no doubt that she will have a successful career in the equine industry’.
