Herefordshire Ludlow and North Shropshire College (HLNSC) is pleased to welcome Wyvern Business Systems to its Herefordshire Patron Scheme for academic year 2026-27, strengthening links between industry and education to help prepare students for successful careers in the digital sector.
Through the partnership, Wyvern Business Systems will engage with the College’s Computing students throughout the academic year, providing industry insight and helping to ensure students develop the skills employers need both now and in the future.
Wyvern Business Systems will deliver guest speaking sessions during the autumn term, giving Computing students the opportunity to hear directly from industry professionals about technologies, infrastructure and the realities of working in a digital environment. These sessions will help bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practice, providing students with valuable knowledge of current trends and career pathways.
In the spring, Wyvern Business Systems will collaborate with curriculum teams to review Computing provision, ensuring programmes remain aligned with industry expectations, developments and future workforce requirements. This approach will help students continue to gain relevant, employer informed skills that support progression into higher education, apprenticeships and employment.
