Yvonne progressed from Ludlow Sixth Form College, having achieved A Level Geology grade A*, Geography grade A, Chemistry grade B and AS Biology grade B to study Geology at Imperial College London.
Keen to continue in research, education and scholarship she progressed to the University of Manchester to complete a Masters in Environmental Modelling and Reconstruction. Pursuing a career in Engineering, Yvonne is currently an assistant Engineer at Stantec, consulting on flood mitigation, coastal resilience and nature-based solutions for UK infrastructure projects.
