Subject: Brickwork
Adam completed the first two years of his apprenticeship training at Herefordshire College while working with local company William Powell. After taking a year out when the third-year course wasn’t running, he returned to complete his qualification before progressing into the industry.
In 2019, Adam took the leap into self-employment and launched Rogers Brickwork. Since then, the business has gone from strength to strength, delivering projects across Abergavenny, Herefordshire and beyond, rom garden walls and patios to building entire homes.
By sharing photos and videos of his work on social media, Adam has built a strong online presence that has attracted clients, connected him with industry professionals, and even led to an invitation from the London Brick Company to tour its Peterborough factory as part of an exclusive influencer event for leading tradespeople.
Adam is currently building another home while pricing up a seven-house development in Weobley, the biggest contract of his career to date!
He remains closely connected to Herefordshire College, recently supporting the next generation in the national Junior Super Trowel competition and mentoring a current Level 1 student, who he hopes to support through an apprenticeship.
