Level 3 Animal Care
My time at Holme Lacy College truly set me on the path toward my dream career! During my Level 3 Animal Management course, it was through inspiring lessons and supportive staff that I first discovered the role of a Registered Veterinary Nurse. That spark of curiosity soon became a clear ambition.
In 2025, I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Now, in 2026, I am proud to be working as a Theatre Veterinary Nurse at the Queen Mother Hospital in London, the largest veterinary referral hospital in Europe.
My role involves preparing patients for surgery, organising and sterilising surgical equipment, and scrubbing in to assist veterinary surgeons during complex procedures. It is a fast-paced and highly rewarding environment that challenges me every day.
When I first began my journey at Holme Lacy, I could never have imagined standing where I am now. The foundation I built there gave me the confidence and direction to pursue a career I am truly passionate about.
