Subject Area: Biology, Geography and Business
I studied Biology, Business and Geography A-levels at Ludlow Sixth Form college from 2021-2023. While I wasn’t initially certain which career I wanted to pursue, studying a broad range of subjects allowed me to explore my interests and keep my options open. I particularly enjoyed Biology, which inspired me to study Human Biology at the University of Worcester, where I graduated with a First-Class Honours degree.
Outside of university, I also enjoyed fundraising and volunteering. I completed a skydive to raise money for charity, and volunteered at a school in Bali over the summer. Volunteering helped me gain valuable experience working with students and further developed my interest in education. I have returned to Ludlow Sixth Form college as a trainee A-level Biology teacher through a graduate/industry expert teacher training apprenticeship scheme. I hope to pursue a career that combines my passion for teaching with my interest in research science.
