It was while studying Geology at Ludlow Sixth Form College that I was introduced to Camborne School of Mines by an enthusiastic lecturer.
I went on to study Mining Engineering at CSM, a job that has taken me around the world. I have worked on mine sites in West Africa, Sweden, Finland, Turkey, Spain, Kazakhstan and now Australia.
As the world looks towards the green energy transition, metals and minerals have become even more critical – the world needs more mining engineers!
