The course is for anyone requiring an understanding of water regulations/water byelaws. In particular those wishing to become approved plumbers/contractors.

What qualification will I gain?

Water Regulations & Bylaws. The Water Regulations/Byelaws certificate has no expiry date applied.

Key facts

The course is delivered over one day and covers: The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 (England & Wales), the Water Supply (Water Fittings)(Scotland) Byelaws 2014 and The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009. It meets the requirements of Water Regs UK on behalf of the water undertakers which participate in the Water Industry Approved Plumbers’ Scheme (WIAPS).

  • 29th November 2024
  • 17th  January 2025
  • 14th February  2025
  • 21st March 2025
  • 9th May 2025

 

This course is set to take place every month and has minimum and maximum places for each course, please contact us for future dates.

Assessment methods

The assessment is an open book multi-choice paper that requires 80% or above to achieve.

Entry requirements

Trainees will need to have some knowledge of plumbing and the water industry.
