Harley Centre – Official Opening

The Harley Centre Officially Reopens Following Refurbishment

Ludlow Sixth Form College welcomed guests to the newly refurbished Harley Centre for a drinks reception.

Many of the attendees were already well acquainted with the College. Some were former students and former teachers, some former students and current teachers, and many others with established links spanning decades.

Ludlow College has a long history, spanning many centuries and is housed in beautiful buildings, such as Palmer’s Hall, High Hall, Barnaby House and The Old School Room. Investment in the estate has provided sensitive and sympathetic additions, for example the Graphics and Photography teaching areas. These have enhanced the College’s learning space, providing superb learning environments which are highly valued by staff and students.

At the drinks reception, the completion of the refurbishment to the Harley Centre was officially celebrated and staff showcased the exceptional facility. Paul Youger, the Architect attended and Linda Randall, Ludlow’s Head of Campus, extended gratitude for creating and monitoring the completion of the new, exceptional space.

The refurbishment includes carefully designed work areas which enable students to work independently or in small groups. The relocation of reception into this building ensures that assistance is on hand for students and visitors.

The new space has become the hub of college life!

In addition, the state-of-the-art speed gates improve the safety of students and staff, given the town centre location.

Ludlow Sixth Form College is proud to be home to exceptional teachers, excellent pastoral support and support staff provision. The superb facilities and comprehensive A Level curriculum will ensure continued growth and prosperity for centuries to come.
