About the course

Learn the professional skills necessary to understand the behaviours and enhance welfare of a broad collection of animals, from domestic pets to exotic birds and reptiles. Learning will be through a combination of classroom-based and practical workshops, utilising the fully equipped animal care unit. There will be more opportunities to visit animal care organisations, including small businesses, The Cotswold Wildlife Park and Crufts. You will also have guest speakers throughout the year linking to your course units, and you will complete 150 hours of industry-relevant work experience alongside your course.
