The Early Years Professional Leadership for England (2025) course is designed to address an increasing need for high-quality professional and technical education pathways at Levels 4 and 5, providing students with a clear line of sight to employment or progression to further higher education study.

These qualifications are confirmed by the Department for Education (DfE) as a ‘full and relevant’ early years educator(EYE) qualification as the core units allow coverage of the full Level 4 (in the HNC) and Level 5 (in the HND) EYErequirements, and access to a range of employment opportunities in the sector

College assessed, holistic, formative and summative assessment methods are embedded through units to allow for arange of different learning styles. They support students in developing a greater depth of learning, embedding theskills-based requirements critical to their professional development and enabling students to engage meaningfullywith the employers they are placed with.
· Level 3 qualification in Children’s Play, Learning and Development (or a related subject)
· A GCE Advanced Level profile that demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject or adequate
performance in more than one GCE subject.
· GCSE grades A* to C and/or 9 to 4 (or equivalent) in subjects such as maths and English
