This course offers a broad introduction to the world of business and provides learners with transferable abilities and knowledge in a variety of digital skills. The qualification focuses on practical digital communication technologies and how they are used in business and IT. Learners develop many skills and attributes that can be transferred to further study in a range of subjects and to employment.
Level 1 Introductory in Vocational Studies.
On successful completion, your next study options would be progression to a Level 1 or 2 in Technology Studies or Community Studies, such as Level 2 Computing, or the Level 2 Enterprise & Volunteering course in Foundation Studies. Some learners progress to an apprenticeship or employment instead.

Assessment is continuous, with assignment projects and practical work. You will be given opportunities to carry out practical tasks, present information that you have gathered.
This charge identified is applicable to learners aged 16-18 who qualify for funding. Learners aged 19+ will have to pay this charge and possibly tuition and exam fees.
